Privacy notice
How we collect and use your details. Last updated September 2026.
The short version. We only collect what you type into our forms. We use it to run the waitlist, the monthly draw, your reservation or your trade enquiry. We never sell or share it for anyone else's marketing, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Who we are
- Rùn is a trading name of JetBlack Performance Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC902862). We're the data controller for the information described here.

2. What we collect

- With each form we also record the date and time, the page it came from, and, if you arrived through a link with tracking tags or a friend's referral link, which one. This tells us where our sign-ups come from.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- Waitlist and launch updates: to tell you when and where Rùn launches, because you asked us to (consent).
- Monthly draw: to run the draw, count referral entries and contact winners, under the draw terms (contract).
- Reservations: to hold stock for you and confirm price and delivery before launch, at your request (steps before entering a contract).
- Trade enquiries: to reply and send samples or trade details (our legitimate interest in answering businesses that contact us).
- News and offers: only if you ticked the box (consent). Every email has an unsubscribe link.
4. Who else handles it
- We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Netlify (website hosting), Web3Forms (delivers form submissions to our inbox), Brevo (sends your confirmation email and any updates you asked for) and Google (email). They process data on our behalf and aren't allowed to use it for their own purposes.
- The site loads its font from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when the page loads.
- Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legally recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
- We don't sell your data or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
5. What's stored in your browser
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores a few small items in your browser: your referral code, and any tracking tags or referral link you arrived with, so they can be attached to your sign-up. You can clear them any time in your browser settings.
6. How long we keep it
- Waitlist and draw details: until 12 months after launch, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever is sooner.
- Reservations that don't go ahead: deleted within 6 months of launch. If a reservation becomes a paid order, we keep order records for 6 years for tax and accounting.
- Trade enquiries: for as long as we're in contact, then up to 2 years.
7. Your rights
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Just email us. We'll reply within one month.
- If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
8. Age
- Rùn is high in caffeine. Our forms are for people aged 18 or over, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
